Keep in mind that the articles are from AFP (”find”) and AP (”loot”), so it’s not particularly Yahoo’s fault. Mind you, I agree, looting is looting, regardless of what label we apply to our skin color.

I agree with Johan–it’s almost certainly the difference between a French news agency and an American one, especially since the “white” girl is almost certainly mixed-race (though light-skinned, a not uncommon sight in New Orleans) and would therefore be considered “black” (and would likely self-identify as such).
