We are number 1
All others are number 2 or lower.
As Chris has already pointed out, we won the pub quiz! Our dubiously-named team (see Chris’ post for the name, which was from Red Dwarf by the way) of myself, President Lauren, Chris and Steve took first place, and funnily enough Lauren and I also won two of the three raffle prizes on offer (some wine, and a bottle of raspberry Absolut).
The grand prize was a couple of bottles of Cava and the legendary Golden Joystick, in a Gamesmaster stylee. Here’s a pic of the joystick in the pub, and another of it at Steve’s flat (I think).
Never has a plastic joystick, some gold paint, the shelves from a corner unit and three layers of varnish looked so good.
