Happy Birthday Philo

Today would have been Phil Lynott’s 58th birthday, had he not been snatched from us by drug abuse 21 years ago. If you’re feeling like it, put some Thin Lizzy on and pay a well-deserved musical tribute to The Rocker.

Wherever he is right now, tonight there’s surely gonna be a jailbreak.

Sad anniversary indeed. A great talent and and a larger than life bon-vivant.

Thin Lizzy was was one of my first musical loves. To this day many of the songs still resonate with me. Of course as a guitarist, I respect the music on that level too.
