As some of you know, I recently turned 30 (on Friday 5th June). As part of the celebrations, Lauren and I went on holiday up north from Saturday til Wednesday, to a place I’ve not seen in fifteen years.
Every year of my life until I was almost 16, I spent more than two months of each Summer (and often a few weeks more in the Winter) at a caravan park on the coast north of Aberdeen. I have a lot of memories of the place, and we thought it would be an appropriate destination to allow me to rediscover some parts of my childhood and reflect on what has changed and what has remained the same. Once we got north of Aberdeen particularly, I felt the years rolling back along with the miles of road.
I took plenty of photos, all of which are in my Flickr photostream; you can view a selection of them here.
