iPad 3 Retina Display Lock Screen

tech & interface 1 min read

Like many people, I received my new iPad (3rd generation) with Retina Display today (you can find some obligatory unboxing photos here). I often speak at conferences and take my iPad along with me, and I thus always:

  1. Have a passcode lock enabled on the iPad (and all my other devices).
  2. Have my contact information readily available, in case someone finds the device.

The easiest way to do this is with a custom Lock Screen image. I use a template with my business logo and my Twitter, email and phone information.

It looks a bit like this:

(I’ve changed my phone number for the purposes of the screenshot, as you’d expect.)

If you’d like to do the same, you can download the template PSD file here. You’re welcome.

You should also most certainly follow me (@mattgemmell) on Twitter.
